Plymouth – onsite Permanent Monday – Friday with paid on call Summary We are currently seeking a skilled mobile Telecomm & Data Comms Engineer to join our IT Services team based in Plymouth. This is an exciting opportunity to work across our client base and contribute to our innovative projects! You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Telecom and Data Comms cabling that supports an established network. This role will suit an individual with a strong understanding of network cabling and who enjoys problem solving. Some of the key deliverables of the role include: Always ensure compliance with health and safety standardsInstallation, fault finding and provide support across Telecom and Data Comms systemsWorking across cabling network architecture, (Telephony, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a & Fibre Optic)Ability to maintain accurate records of work performed and materials usedCollaborate with different technical support teamsUse online operations reporting platforms What we’re looking for: Proven experience in Telecom and Data Comms fieldSolid understanding of cabling network architecture, (Telephony, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a & Fibre Optic)Familiar with current network cabling test equipmentUnderstanding of best practices in Telecom and Data Comms installation and fault finding.Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressureAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFull Driving LicenceSecurity Clearance or willingness to go through the process Benefits We\’re always evolving our benefits to ensure we\’re attracting and retaining great people.
