Salary up to £75,000 + bonus typically up to c30% + cash car allowance and usual benefits. Our client, a leading bank asset financier, are seeking an additional Broker Manager to join their fast expanding and highly successful UK broker sales team. You will focus wholly on driving introductions from existing and new name lease brokers for mid ticket transactions above £250,000 in size and typically to an upper deal size limit of £5m across both hard and soft assets.
Volume and margin targets are very achievable; we will be happy to disclose these to suitably qualified applicants. Our clients' service proposition in terms of acceptance rate, turnaround time, pay out etc. are all very market competitive. Improvements in all these service areas and a substantial growth in the size of the national broker sales team have seen our client deliver a c7 fold increase in volumes of business being written over the last two years.
Your role is to build upon this success, growing volumes from existing brokers and winning new brokers and being a part of a highly successful and fast growing business unit.
Candidate Profile
Our client seeks, to quote the hiring manager, “a heavy hitter who knows their stuff and is a self starter.” To apply you must have a depth of experience in the middle ticket £250,000+ space; this is not a flow focused role. Our ideal applicant will be a broker manager today or have held such a dedicated role recently or have held a hybrid role where working with lease brokers was or is a significant part of your role. Our client has made clear the importance of having mid ticket deal size experience.
Recognising the competitiveness of the marketplace for the above ideal Broker Manager profile versus the remuneration, we are happy to consider applicants who have extensive mid ticket deal closing experience in a direct capacity or a vendor capacity and who can transition into a broker manager role.
In terms of location, our client are ideally seeking applications from those based no further north than the North Midlands. However, if you are the ideal profile of a mid ticket broker manager but based in the North of the UK, we will be pleased to talk with you.
