Location: Brigg, DN20 8UN, covering the east and rest of the UK

Are you a versatile HGV (C+E) driver / HGV technician who takes pride in doing your job to a high standard? We are looking for someone to support our rental business who can work with us to deliver a wide variety of rental equipment. This will include performing simple maintenance tasks and keeping a tidy, organised and safe workspace. This role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with opportunities for occasional weekend and overtime work.

Your focus:

  • Operate a range of HGV (Artic, Hiab and hook loader) for delivery and set up of various types of United Rentals equipment for customers
  • Deliver, and assist with set-up and de-install of our equipment which includes tanks, manifolds, hoses, berms, pumps, and generators at customers' sites
  • Equipment inspection, maintenance and repair (pre & post-delivery)
  • Provide customer handover of rental equipment
  • Safety conscious
  • Maintain driver logs and other regulatory record keeping requirements

Your profile:

  • Full Driving License C+E and recent experience.
  • Crane Truck/lorry loader trained, desirable (not essential, as training will be provided)
  • ADR desirable (not essential, as training will be provided)
  • Team player and independent worker with high flexibility
  • Mechanical aptitude desirable
  • Willing to make occasional overnight trips when required
  • Good oral and written communication skills essential
