We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender to join our team at the iconic Cork and Bottle Wine Bar in the heart of London\’s West End. Based in the bustling Leicester Sq you will provide an excellent wine drinking experience. Good bartenders will be able to innovate, engage and recommend wines for our guests delight, exceeding customers\’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes salary and very good weekly tips.Responsibilities Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks Assess customers\’ needs and preferences and make recommendations Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails Plan and present bar menu Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Comply with all food and beverage regulationsSkills Resume and proven working experience as a bartender Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks Computer literacy (not essential but helpful) Knowledge of a second language is a plus Positive attitude and excellent communication skills Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and cleanJob Types: Permanent, Full-timeSchedule: 10 hour shift 8 hour shift OvertimeAbility to commute/relocate: London WC2H: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience: Hospitality: 1 year (preferred) customer Service: 1 year (preferred) Bartending: 1 year (preferred)Shift availability: Day shift (preferred) Night shift (preferred)
