To support the PA to the Chief Executive in ensuring a highly professional, flexible and resilient Executive support service is provided to the Chief Executive, Directors and Assistant Directors within the Council, supporting service delivery, process improvements and change.
To take a lead role, under the direction of the PA to the Chief Executive in the day-to-day running of the Executive Support function providing direct supervision/management to the Executive Support Officers.
To be responsible for providing direct support to the Directors within the Council.
To deputise for the PA to the Chief Executive, ensuring business continuity and maintaining a seamless executive support function.
Working for the Senior Executive team, must be highly confidential and professional. Would be required to supervise other Executive Support Team members; line management experience required.
Working hours between 8.30 am - 5 pm must be covered between the team. Travel to other offices may be required between Skelmersdale and Ormskirk. Hybrid working available, requirement of 2-3 days in the office. DBS Checks required.
