Job Description
Working arrangements – primarily on‑site, travelling in a vehicle with an additional person, 5 days per week.
You will report to the Property Preparation Officer and work with the Refugee, Resettlement and Migration Team to deliver essential housing preparation tasks.
Your role requires practical facilities and building knowledge, good customer service skills, and the ability to travel across West Sussex. You’ll be expected to communicate in English with members of the public.
Key responsibilities include building and transporting furniture, painting, decorating, maintaining exterior gardens, repairing household items, and other tasks associated with property preparation. The role involves active physical effort and exposure to environmental demands.
Experience and Qualifications
- 5 years experience as a Property Maintenance Officer (required)
- 1 year experience in a similar role (OR18339) (required)
