Responsibilities:
- Carry out day-to-day painting and decorating works as instructed by the Supervisor, including responsive, planned, empty homes, high-value repairs, or capital repairs, to an excellent standard upon completion.
- Plan and organise workload to maximise productive time and ensure the best service to customers, including handling urgent and emergency repairs and meeting appointments and targets.
- Inform a scheduler planner/supervisor promptly of any problems or delays impacting appointments for that day.
- Provide regular updates to supervisors/scheduler planner team and colleagues to assist with material ordering, planning, and scheduling.
- Report any follow-on or related repair works identified with the customer that cannot be completed during the visit, providing details for further works orders.
- Maintain and contribute to the control of imprest stock and other company property, ensuring security, care, and proper use of tools, materials, and equipment.
- Organise materials, tools, and equipment required for planned work and arrange for stock replenishment as needed, notifying the Supervisor of any difficulties.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Recognised C&G Apprentice trained in Painting NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience.
- Experience delivering high-quality painting in domestic properties using portable power tools and equipment.
- Multi-skills training to NVQ Level 3 or willingness to be trained when employed by LBI.
