Main Areas Of Responsibility
- To provide administrative support to the Occupational Therapy Team in the delivery of key objectives and priorities within the service.
- To develop the City Council’s commitment to equal opportunities and to promote non‑discriminatory practices in all aspects of work undertaken.
- To maintain confidentiality of information at all times in accordance with information governance requirements including the principles of Freedom of Information Act and Data Protection Act.
- To ensure that all services are carried out in a timely, accurate and efficient manner, leading to the achievement of the service business targets and best value.
- To operate in accordance with agreed objectives, targets and timescales.
- To assist with the provision and delivery of a customer‑focused service.
- To attend meetings as requested by the Occupational Therapy Service.
- To highlight to senior managers all issues that require escalation or action.
- To support the work of the Agency Services team and support the key objectives.
- To work in partnership with other professionals, statutory, voluntary and community resources and other stakeholders to ensure that services are provided for the service user.
- To promote a positive image of Adult Care & Health and Liverpool City Council, working as part of an integrated team.
- To own individual enquiries, complaints and customer requests.
- To be first point of contact for all customers in relation to Occupational Therapy/Minor Adaptation enquiries.
- To effectively use relevant ICT systems.
- To maintain appropriate records of work undertaken and carry out necessary administrative procedures, including documented reports, within agreed service standards.
- Complete formal IT training as required.
- To participate in all aspects of training and personal development.
- To contribute to the training and development of new staff and trainees through regular feedback, mentoring and job shadowing.
