The predicted salary is between 20000 - 28000 £ per year.
Under the supervision of the Manager (Refuse & Cleansing) / Supervisors, carry out Contractual Street Cleansing duties and, when operationally applicable, drive Council vehicles.
Key Results Areas
- Complete daily cleansing tasks as per the contract specifications and according to the Daily Route Schedules.
- Drive Council vehicles in compliance with all instructions issued in the Driver Handbook.
- Follow all Health and Safety Regulations, including wearing the Council uniform, protective clothing, and footwear.
- Take reasonable care of own safety and others; cooperate with managers/supervisors in adhering to statutory health & safety duties; report incidents, accidents, faults, etc.
- Attend all training courses when instructed.
- Undertake driving and cleansing duties as directed by the Manager (Refuse & Cleansing).
Qualifications and Experience
- Hold a current, full UK driving licence (essential).
- Experience working in a refuse/cleansing environment (desirable).
Supervisory Responsibilities
The postholder will supervise Cleansing Operatives when working together.
