To work as Team Leader within one of the three teams with the Parking Back Office, providing leadership and management to a team of Parking Officers, Appeal and Representation Officer along with Senior Parking Officer (where relevant) delivering a complex and diverse range of services: Resident Services, PCN Processing and Debt Recovery.
To work with the Head of Parking Services and Back Office Manager to ensure the continuous improvement of the parking service including making best use of technology to improve customer access and customers experience of the service more generally.
Main Duties:- To be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of services relating to the day-to-day operation of Parking Services, including [but not limited to]:
- Management of the boroughs Controlled Parking Zones including Permits, Suspensions, Dispensations, Paid for Parking services.
- Processing of Parking, Moving Traffic and Bus Lane Penalty Charge Notices.
- Management of the councils Off-Street Car Parks.
- Income reconciliation [up to £15m] across all business lines and all types.
- Raising of Purchase Orders, Receipting of Goods and Payment of Invoices associated with the operation of the service.
