As a Programme Manager for the Families First Reforms your responsibilities will include the coordination of workstreams and projects associated with the programme, managing risks, issues and interdependencies and ensuring that any significant risks and issues are escalated to the Senior Responsible Officer. This will involve supporting meetings and governance of the programme and working with officers across the council to motivate transformation and change.

Maintaining good communications and relations is essential and will require the post holder to provide project updates and advice to the SRO at regular intervals.

The post holder will support the delivery and management of Children’s Services Families First Programme aligning closely with the council's Transformation Programme, which will involve working closely with other Directorates.

You must have a proven track record of delivering and supporting complex programmes and be able to demonstrate the use of robust project methodologies and tools to support delivery through transformational change and how you positively supported this change.

Relationships are central to everything we do, and it is important that you can show how you establish and maintain working relationships at all levels of the organisation, whilst demonstrating excellent people skills to drive programme delivery which supports in achieving our organisational outcomes.
