The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of approximately 70-100 complaints (mostly existing cases, but some new), investigating and reviewing existing investigation progress, establishing and actioning next steps, including inspecting sites, reviewing plans and legal documents, understanding a site's planning history, relevant regulations and planning law (including designated heritage assets and protected trees), and keeping accurate records.

Your duties will include prioritising and negotiating to ensure high quality outcomes are delivered in a timely way, communicating effectively with all parties (alleged offenders, complainants, Councillors, colleagues and other agencies), writing well-structured, clear and comprehensive letters and reports, and, where appropriate, drafting and serving notices and preparing evidence for prosecution.

You may also be required to carry out interviews under caution, attend urgent site visits at short notice (Monday-Friday).
