Job Purpose Job Evaluation Analyst To undertake and deliver job evaluation activity to ensure roles are assessed consistently and fairly across the organisation.
This includes carrying out evaluations and appeals using agreed methodologies, providing advice and guidance to managers and stakeholders, and ensuring that job evaluation processes are applied consistently in line with agreed schemes, including NJE and Hay, and equality principles.
The postholder will also contribute to the effective delivery of pay and reward work and support the continuous improvement of the job evaluation service.
Key Responsibilities Job Evaluation Analyst Undertake job evaluations across a wide range of roles, using NJE and Hay schemes, across the organisation including schools Analyse job descriptions, JDQs and supporting evidence to determine appropriate evaluation and appeal outcomes Apply job evaluation frameworks, procedures and local conventions consistently Prepare documentation and present findings to job evaluation panels as required Provide advice and guidance to managers and HR colleagues on job evaluation processes and outcomes Respond to queries, including those that may require explanation or clarification of decisions Support the moderation process by providing clear rationale and evidenc...
