Multi Skilled Commercial Engineer will be responsible for carrying out plumbing, mechanical and or electrical repairs, planned preventative maintenance, renewals and replacements within commercial-type buildings, including schools, children's centres and other premises of varying sizes.
The works will range from routine reactive repairs, planned maintenance, statutory testing and may include some design and installation works.
Multi Skilled Commercial Engineer Works are required to be undertaken in accordance with Industry standards (i.e. SGF20, CIBSIE), building and statutory regulations, British standards and manufacturers operating and maintenance manuals. The post-holder will be required to use their skills and judgement to diagnose compliance and asset failures and determine the best solution to resolve repair problems.
Multi Skilled Commercial Engineer A key objective of the role is to ensure the properties are well maintained with no disruption to the customers service because of either plant failure or general repairs and maintenance. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that the staff within the properties can focus on educational matters and their service users' needs as opposed to building-related issues.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.

We're looking for a skilled and adaptable professional with experience across at least two mechanical, electrical, or plumbing (MEP) disciplines, ideally with a recognised qualification such as NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds.
