We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Teams Telephony Administrator to join our IT team and take responsibility for configuring, managing, and optimising our Teams Telephony environment. The successful candidate will ensure seamless communication across the organisation and support the integration of telephony services within Microsoft Teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, deploy, and maintain Microsoft Teams Telephony solutions, including Direct Routing, Calling Plans, and voice policies.
- Administer user accounts, phone numbers, call queues, and auto attendants within the Teams Admin Centre.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot telephony-related issues to ensure high availability and call quality.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to understand telephony requirements and implement effective solutions.
- Stay up to date with Microsoft Teams updates and best practices, and provide training and support to end users as needed.
- Document configuration changes, procedures, and support materials.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience administering Microsoft Teams and Teams Telephony environments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Teams Admin Centre, and telephony concepts (SIP, SBC, PSTN, Direct Routing).
