Pre-Commencement:
- Read and absorb Scope of Works prior to start
- Read and absorb the Programme of Works thoroughly with target dates
- Read and absorb the up-to-date R&D Asbestos Survey (if available)
- Relay any up-front questions or concerns to the Railston PM/CM
- Attend Pre-Start Site Meeting if required/requested on some accounts
- Attend Centre Management meeting with PM/CM and absorb Tenants Fit-Out Guide/Rules (where applicable)
Live on Site:
- Setup site and H&S station or podium
- Request ID and mandatory signing in for every site visitor
- Conduct inductions for ALL site attendees and photograph CSCS, Asbestos Awareness, MEWPS, cards, etc.
- CHECK and witness sign all appointed and/or nominated Sub-Contractors site specific RAMS
- Call relevant Contractors prior to arrival (direct and/or nominated parties or otherwise) to ensure they are fully informed and understanding of site access, constraints, etc.
Site Manager monitoring:
- H&S Plan file daily checks and written inputs
- Ensure all Site Operatives are provided with, and using, appropriate PPE for their working tasks
- Ensure all Site Operatives are able and fully aware of their working tasks
- Ensure all Site Operatives are suitably trained with proof (card(s)) for their working at height tasks with usage of scaffold, MEWPS etc.
- Instruct and direct ALL site workings, direct and/or nominated parties
- Issue daily/nightly reporting on ALL project elements/status updates
- Issue daily/nightly cleanliness checks against ALL Site Contractors working areas and surrounding site working/storage/access and egress areas
- Pay special attention to detail on expected finishes, target programmed dates etc.
- Carry out regular Tool Box Talks and insert/record in file
- Plan, with ample notice, storage, skips and exchanges etc.
- Plan, with ample notice, ALL deliveries and additional material requirements
- Plan, with ample notice, ALL off hire for Railston plant, containers etc.
- General overall site management and task planning for ALL associated trades and works with foresight
- Promptly report site variations and/or additional works to the Railston PM/CM
- Carry out pre-PC/handover site snagging inspection
- Attendance at PC/Handover
Post-PC/Handover:
- Close out all/any snagging points as soon as possible, with agreed timelines for all
- Advise the Railston PM/CM and H&S Dept of potential working improvements for any specific projects scope or working resolves
