In the current financial year, we aim to save around £8m through changing how we operate to meet these goals.

We need a catalyst to pull the components of this change together and help operate the business to maximise the benefits to children and families in the city, as well as to the Council's budget. The right candidate will fill a role profile that we call a programme manager and is likely to have the skills and experience arising from this type of background.

You will have experience of Children's Services so that professionals respect you, and you will have demonstrated how to lead big changes in complex organisations.
