We have an opportunity that has become available for an experienced Admin Assistant / Business Support Officer to join our Single Point of Access Team.

The post holder will be required to:

  • Provide a professional administrative and business support service to Social Care teams.
  • Handle and process sensitive and confidential information in relation to safeguarding.
  • Support with call handling and screening.

The post holder will ensure policies and procedures are followed in compliance with Data Protection and internal processes in line with statutory timescales, to meet set objectives to provide a high quality, efficient and effective service, whilst ensuring the organisational core values, departmental policies and objectives are adhered to.

Skills and qualifications required:

  • Good standard of education (5 GCSE or equivalent) plus technology & software skills
  • Knowledge of WCCIS or similar client database
  • Typing & active listening skills, with strong organisation, planning & problem-solving skills
  • Team work & interpersonal skills
  • Ability to converse bilingually - Welsh and English.

The assignment is for 37HPW, Monday to Friday. There is an expectation that the candidate lives locally or within a commutable distance as the position is in Conwy County. The worker will work from the office Coed Pella, Colwyn Bay, Conwy; this position is not available to be completed remotely. The assignment is expected to last approximately 12 weeks with potential to be extended.
