In Bromley we are committed to preventing homelessness through earlier intervention and tackling the root causes of homelessness. We are looking to recruit an experienced Housing Options Team Manager who will be responsible for the management and co-ordination of a Housing Options Team, ensuring that staff act in a creative and focused manner and in accordance with the legislation, policy and best practice.
The successful candidate will need to be a proactive individual who is able to lead a team of housing options officers promoting and developing a culture which is positive, forward-looking, responsive to change, performance driven and customer-focused, with demonstrable experience of preventing homelessness and casework management.
The successful applicant will need excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with key internal and external colleagues and partners to achieve successful results and outcomes. As well as significant working experience in offering housing solutions advice and assistance to prevent homelessness, you will also have detailed and working knowledge of statutory legislation, case law and best practice.
