To manage a team of officers delivering an effective operational service placing homeless households into all forms of accommodation to meet or discharge the Council's duty to homeless households.
This includes all forms of temporary accommodation but could include all forms of accommodation used for discharge of duty such as private rented sector offers and those acquired through in-house acquisition or other initiatives such as Local Space/More Homes/Private Sector Capital Letters.
To ensure best use of stock by managing voids, meeting contractual timescales for nominations and reducing costs through effective procedures to cancel bookings and ensuring accurate casework and financial information is used throughout the service.
