Salary £1,496 - £1,667 per annum (Based on 2 hours) £2,993 - £3,335 per annum (Based on 4 hours)

Basis: Term time

Hours: 2 to 4 hours per week, including weekends and evenings as required.

Responsibilities:

  • An exciting opportunity has been created within our Youth Support Service to provide open access support to young people of Bridgend.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the facilitation of a needs-led provision that meets the needs of young people in line with the five aims identified in the Youth Work Strategy for Wales.
  • The post holder will be expected to work in a variety of settings, including street-based services as required.
  • Additional duties will include greeting customers in Welsh, protecting children, young people or adults at risk, and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.

Requirements:

  • Full and valid driving licence.
  • Experience working with children and young people is desirable.
  • Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check with Children Barred List.
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends and on street-based settings.
