We're working with a well-established engineering and manufacturing business in York who are looking to bring in a Warehouse Administrator to support their depot operations on a temporary basis for 6 months. This is a varied role where you'll play a key part in keeping processes running smoothly across maintenance, stock and reporting.

We are keen to speak to experienced Administrators who enjoy working in a busy, hands-on environment where you can really take ownership of your work.

Key duties:
  • Issuing job numbers to tasks and updating internal asset maintenance logs
  • Developing and maintaining reports to highlight trends, failures and improvement opportunities
  • Checking completed maintenance records for compliance and uploading to the Fleet Asset Management System
  • Raising, processing and closing work orders, including spares, materials and labour details
  • Running reports from the client system to support KPI reporting
  • Supporting Project Engineers with fault coding, risk scoring and fleet modifications
  • Carrying out stock takes and monitoring replenishment processes to maintain stock levels
  • Providing general administrative support including document control, purchasing, scanning, filing and retrieval
  • Supporting the wider office team with day-to-day tasks as needed
Requirements:
  • Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Strong administrative background with the confidence to take ownership of your work
  • Able to work independently and use initiative without close supervision
  • Organised with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment
  • Confident communicator, able to work effectively within a small team

This role is based on site in York, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7:30am-3:45pm and Friday 7:30am-2pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, earning a salary of £13.70 per hour.
