Our staff at Pool House Equine are our biggest strength, in addition to the fantastic facilities we have to offer our clients. The group has specialist trained colleagues and referral specialists for surgery, diagnostics, medicine and lameness / poor performance.
How You'll Make a Difference
You will play a key role in the day to day running of the yard, ensuring all inpatients receive exceptional, gold standard care at all times. This role involves leading, organising, and supporting the yard team while promoting best practice across all areas of patient care and yard management. As an important link between the clinical team and yard staff, you will help maintain excellent communication, high standards of welfare, and an efficient working environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Feeding and grooming patients
- Delivering high standards of general husbandry
- Maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and upkeep of the yard
- Supporting and supervising the yard team in daily duties
- Assisting in the smooth coordination between clinical and yard operations
This is a flexible full/part time role working between 37 - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts varying between 06:30 and 18:30. Weekend and OOH duties will be shared equally across the team on a rota basis.
