Yard Operative MHE Driver
Location: Challow Station, Faringdon, SN7 8NT
Employment type: Full time
Working hours: Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm; Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first and last point of contact for customers visiting the branch.
- Get to know our product lines (1100 lines).
- Help prepare customer orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a Fork Lift Truck, with training provided.
- Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products.
- Maintain stock levels in the yard area, carrying out regular stock counts.
- Prioritise Health & Safety and demonstrate how to keep yourself and others safe at work.
- Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
- No forklift licence required – training will be provided.
- Willingness to learn and comply with health & safety procedures.
