Responsibilities:
- Deliver the school active travel behaviour change programme, reported and accredited through the Modeshift Stars platform.
- Work with primary schools and internal teams to implement school travel plans and encourage walking, scooting and cycling to school.
- Lead partnership work with Modeshift on the Active Travel Ambassadors project for secondary schools.
- Manage a small group of schools across Bristol, coordinating and delivering assemblies, classroom workshops and outdoor sessions on active travel, road safety and air quality.
- Support other projects such as School Streets, including communication with the public and on ground support during launch weeks.
- Provide a timely, professional service to schools and manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Supervise other staff, working closely with Schools Sustainable Travel Assistants.
Qualifications:
- Experience of behaviour change projects.
- Motivated, enthusiastic and a team player.
- Degree level or equivalent education.
- Experience in partnership working within a school based environment.
- Understanding of monitoring techniques and ability to analyse datasets.
Role requires an Enhanced DBS Check.
