Key Responsibilities
- Monitor student attendance, identify patterns of absence, work closely with students and families to improve attendance, maintain accurate records and liaise with external agencies where appropriate to support positive outcomes for learners.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an attendance, pastoral, school administration or safeguarding role
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and external agencies
- Experience using school management systems such as SIMS or Arbor (desirable)
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Proactive, professional and compassionate approach to supporting young people
- Enhanced DBS check, ID checks and good professional references required
