Westworks is seeking a talented and motivated Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied range of projects across multiple sectors and develop your architectural career within a supportive and progressive practice.
Position overview
As a Part 2 Architectural Assistant at Westworks, you will support the design and delivery of projects across multiple sectors. You will gain experience across a range of project stages while working alongside experienced architects and consultants.
Responsibilities
- Assisting senior members of the team in the development of design concepts and presentations.
- Preparing drawings, models and visual material to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Working within Revit to support the development and coordination of project information.
- Collaborating with consultants, contractors and clients to support the smooth delivery of projects.
- Participating in site visits and construction inspections to gain practical experience.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends, regulations and best practice.

Essential qualifications and experience
- Have completed your Masters in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Have 1+ year of UK practice experience working on architectural projects.
- Strong working knowledge of Revit within practice is essential.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software, such as AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong conceptual and design skills, with the ability to think creatively and critically.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- A portfolio demonstrating your design abilities and technical skills.
Remuneration & package
