We are recruiting for the following permanent role in Bristol:
- Mechanical Supervisors x3
- Electrical Supervisors x3
Work Location: Bristol (BS3 area)
Employment: Permanent/full-time
Duration: For the next 5 years you will be based on one of the largest new build construction projects in Bristol. The project may potentially grow to 7-8 years of work.
Start date: ASAP
Salary: £55k - £65k per annum
Additional details: pension, 22+8 Holidays, travel allowance
Project: £200m major new build project - offices & education centre
Qualifications: Trade related CSCS Card (ECS, JIB or Engineering Skillcard) & ideally the 2 day SSSTS
Your required experience:
- Previous experience as a Supervisor, managing H&S, workflow, labour and sub contractors.
Responsibilities to include:
- Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation works on site.
- Manage subcontractors and direct labour to ensure efficient delivery.
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with health & safety regulations.
- Monitor progress against programme and report to senior management.
- Maintain quality control standards and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other trades on site.
- Assist in resolving any technical or operational challenges.
The successful individual:
- Proven experience in a Mechanical Supervisor role within the M&E or construction sector.
- Strong background working on new build projects.
- Experience across commercial sectors (e.g., offices, education etc.) is essential.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and site procedures.
- Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
