The Role
- You'll be stepping into classrooms to keep learning on track when teachers are absent. That means creating a positive learning environment and ensuring students stay focused and supported.
- Supervising lessons using work set by the teacher
- Encouraging students to complete tasks to the best of their ability
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a calm, focused environment
- Supporting pupils and helping de-escalate situations when needed
- Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
- Collecting completed work and returning it to the appropriate teacher
- Reporting any safeguarding concerns through the school's procedures
About You
- You might already have experience working with young people, or you may simply have the drive and enthusiasm to support them.
- Genuinely cares about the education and wellbeing of young people
- Enjoys working in a team and supporting school communities
- Is passionate about helping students build confidence, knowledge, and life skills
- Goes the extra mile to make a positive impact in the classroom

- Right to work in the UK, for example a passport or share code
- Two proofs of address, such as a driving licence, utility bill, or council tax letter
- A CV covering the last 10 years of work or education, with any gaps explained
- Two years of references, including childcare or youth work where relevant
- Overseas Police Check if you have lived abroad for three months or more within the last five years
