Laboratory Technician
We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join a collaborative team focused on ensuring the safety and performance of medical devices. The role involves hands on testing, accurate data recording, and continuous improvement of laboratory processes and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform product testing in line with established procedures, protocols, and timelines.
- Record test results clearly and accurately in both physical and digital formats.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure calibration is up to date.
- Report any irregularities in test results or equipment performance promptly.
- Support the development of new test methods and equipment.
- Contribute to investigations, prototype evaluations, and exploratory testing.
- Assist with laboratory upkeep and administrative tasks.
- Provide input and support during internal and external audits.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Biological or Engineering Sciences, or equivalent laboratory experience.
- Comfortable interpreting technical documentation and following detailed procedures.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work methodically.
- Ability to manage time effectively and remain focused during repetitive tasks.
- Experience with data analysis and a good level of numeracy.

Salary
£27,600.00 - £42,075.00 GBP Annual
