Main duties of the job
The role of a cook with Agincare is more than just cooking. You will be working with the team to provide a high quality of life for residents. You will be responsible for menu planning in collaboration with the home manager and residents, understanding dietary needs, ensuring specific nutritional requirements are met, and managing the kitchen, including stock management and hygiene standards.

Requirements
- Minimum of 12 months on your right to work
- Background within kitchens and understanding of how to run a professional kitchen
- Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or support for complex dietary requirements is desirable
- Available to work 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 3pm - with flexibility
Key responsibilities
- Menu planning - collaborating with the home manager and residents' requests, implementing menu ideas.
- Understanding dietary needs - working with staff to meet resident nutrition and dietary requirements, including modified textures and allergies.
- Kitchen management - main point of contact, responsible for day to day running of stock management and hygiene standards.
