We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our busy waterside restaurant and friendly team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, bar and dining areas.
Your responsibilities as a Barista:
- Oversee Kitchen operations, including food production, and ensure adherence of food safety standards.
- Assist the General manager and senior team member by managing daily operations.
- Support inventory management and other administrative tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
- Provide excellent customer service, including bartending when necessary.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in a hospitality setting with at least 1 year of experience in supervising, restaurant management, hospitality, customer service, and overall management; bar management experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to supervise, motivate, and support staff effectively.
- Solid knowledge of culinary techniques, food production processes, and bar operations.
- Excellent organisational and operational management skills to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
