Brightening Lives has the privilege to work with some amazing individuals that live in the community who require support to access services and to be involved in the activities that they enjoy. We are currently looking to recruit a Personal Assistant Waking Nights who would be able to support and assist throughout the night-time. This will be 1 to 2 nights per week in Whitby.
Responsibilities
- Support with personal care needs, manual handling and administering medication during night shifts
- Apply experience with autism and epilepsy including seizures and complex health skills to support individuals with complex medical health needs
- Be engaging, compassionate, and reliable as part of a friendly team
Qualifications
- Experience as a Personal Assistant or similar role
- Ability to work night-time hours (1–2 nights per week) in Whitby
- Experience with autism and epilepsy including seizures and complex health needs
- Commitment to compassionate, person-centred support
