This is an exciting opportunity to join the Nimbuscare team in the role of Receptionist to support the Nimbuscare team in the delivery of the Extended Access service at Whitby Hospital on behalf of the Whitby Coast and Moors Primary Care Network. You will be the first point of contact for our patients arriving for a face to face appointment and will be friendly and welcoming. You will ensure an efficient and professional reception provision and will work to ensure a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for patients and visitors arriving.
- Report and take action on facility issues and faults where required.
- Escalate health and safety and facility issues where appropriate.
- Support the clinical teams working in our services with basic requests.
- Manage the waiting room area whilst patients wait to be seen.
- Interact with patients to provide information, signposting, and advice.
- Demonstrate competent interpersonal skills.
- Manage and prioritise own workload.
- Ensure clinical rooms are stocked where appropriate.
- Complete any other duties as directed.
- Complete administrative tasks as directed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Level 2 Maths and English or equivalent (GCSE Grade C or Grade 4 or above).
- 6 months minimum experience in a similar role.
- Able to use Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Understand and observe strict confidentiality.
- Experience of working within the NHS or general practice.
- Experience in working with SystmOne.
