An opportunity has arisen at our Derby office for a Solicitor / Legal Executive to join our Commercial Property team. Role overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solicitor / Legal Executive to join our Commercial Property team. The role involves working for a wide range of clients including local businesses and property investors. The successful candidate will handle a general caseload including freehold and leasehold acquisition matters, landlord and tenant matters and will be involved with client development to build their own caseload.

Key requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor / Legal Executive with a current practising certificate in England and Wales.
  • Ideally 3-5 years PQE experience.
  • Experience of working in commercial property.
  • Experience and knowledge of a variety of transactional matters e.g. secured lending, property development work, sales and purchases of owner-occupied and investment property.
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively and efficiently.
  • Contributes to business development activities, including networking and attending sector events.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience in building and maintaining strong client relationships.
