A bright and supportive nursery in Wembley is currently seeking a passionate and caring Early Years Practitioner to join the friendly team of staff! This nursery is truly a great place to work, with plenty of opportunities for you to develop and progress in your career (including further training provided by the nursery), as well as various benefits such as bonuses paid throughout the year. Located in Wembley, there are excellent transport links and parking available.

Prior experience working with children under 5 within a nursery or childcare setting would be ideal, and a minimum of a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare is essential for the suitable Early Years Practitioner. Strong knowledge of EYFS and children's learning and development is important for this position, as you will be a key part of preparing young children for their future, and supporting their growth and development during their most formative years.

Responsibilities:
  • Planning and delivering play-based learning activities and exploration based on the EYFS curriculum that promote children's learning and development
  • Creating an environment that is stimulating, supportive and safe, and that enables children to grow and learn at their own pace
  • Supporting and assisting with early reading, vocabulary, literacy and communication development
  • Encouraging development through play and exploration
  • Assisting with the development of early maths skills
  • Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development
  • Establishing positive relationships with children and their families

The management team at this nursery cares a lot about every member of staff, and as an Early Years Practitioner you will be working with a team of friendly individuals who are dedicated to supporting Early Years. This is a permanent position to work full-time Monday-Friday (8am-6pm), to start ASAP.
