MIG Welder / Fabricator - Night Shift

Location: Loughborough

Pay Rate: Up to £24.00 per hour (Night Shift)

Permanent role

MIG Welding and fabrication responsibilities in Loughborough, commutable from Nottingham, Leicester, Coalville, and surrounding areas. Immediate interviews available.

Job Purpose

Reporting directly to the Fabrication Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • MIG welding mild steel up to 20mm thickness
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Welding in all positions, including overhead
  • Fabricating components to a high standard
  • Working independently and as part of a busy fabrication team

The Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven MIG welding and fabrication experience
  • The ability to weld in all positions, including overhead
  • Apprenticeship-trained fabrication skills or equivalent experience
  • The ability to accurately read and work from engineering drawings
  • Experience working with mid- to heavy-gauge mild steel
  • A minimum of 3 years' industry experience in welding and fabrication
  • The ability to work on their own initiative and manage varied workloads
