URGENT HIRING: GENERAL OPERATIVE
LOCATION: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
IMPORTANT: Weekend-free schedule! Stable Monday to Friday shifts.
We are looking for reliable General Operatives to join the production at a food processing facility.
PAY & HOURS:
- Basic Rate: £12.87 per hour
- Overtime Rate: £19.31 per hour (paid for hours worked over 40 per week)
- Shifts: Monday to Friday
- AM Shift: 06:00 - 14:30
- PM Shift: 14:30 - 23:00
- Weekends: Always OFF
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working on production lines (packing, grading, and processing)
- Ensuring quality standards are met on the line
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Following food safety and health & safety protocols
REQUIREMENTS:
- Reliability and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Basic understanding of English (written and verbal)
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team
- Punctuality and commitment to the shift schedule
