About the Role

Reporting to the Team Leader, you'll play a key role in assembling our innovative magnet free electric motors for both serial and pre serial production. As an Assembly Operator, you'll work alongside a manufacturing team, contributing to shared goals and production targets. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, enjoys hands on work, and wants to be part of a forward thinking company committed to sustainability.

What will you do

  • Assemble electric motors, transmissions, and associated sub assemblies using hand tools and machinery
  • Comply with health & safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
  • Interrogate and understand engineering drawings
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures to meet quality standards
  • Inspect and test components throughout the process to ensure product conformance
  • Complete documentation (written & electronic) for traceability and record keeping
  • Meet output targets and contribute to continuous improvement

Education/Qualifications Required

  • GCSE'S in Maths & English or equivalent
  • Basic computer literacy required

Experience Required

  • Previous experience of working in a factory / assembly environment is essential
  • Familiarity with hand tools and assembly equipment

What you will work & earn

5 hour week. You will work; Monday to Thursday 8am 4.30pm and Friday 8am 1.30pm (Early finish on a Friday!) £13.20 p/h rising to £14.19 p/h once fully trained
