Receptionist Part Time (16.5 hrs p/wk), term time only (38 weeks per year). Band D, scp 4 5 (£25,185 £25,583 per annum, full time). Actual Starting Salary, Band D, scp 4 £9,372 per annum.
We require a receptionist to assist with general reception duties, to undertake routine administrative tasks within the school's main reception office. The ideal candidate should be organised and possess excellent communication skills, both in person and on the telephone, to enable them to interact with the public, students and other school staff. Their demeanour should be calm and friendly, and it would be advantageous if they have experience of working in a reception/office environment, preferably in a school.
Preferred hours: worked over three days of the week are 8.30 am to 2.00 pm (required, on rare occasions, to cover up to 4.00 pm). Although previous experience is not absolutely necessary, training will be given.
We actively welcome visits from interested candidates by prior appointment.
