About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Internal Sales Engineer to take full technical and commercial responsibility for preparing quotations in response to client enquiries. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will collaborate closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to deliver accurate, timely, and competitive proposals that support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quotations for products, spares, and bespoke solutions
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to obtain technical and commercial information
- Ensure all proposals comply with company standards and contractual requirements
- Deliver quotations within required timescales, with a focus on pressure control and metering equipment
- Attend internal and external meetings as required
- Develop an understanding of UK utilities supply chains
- Maintain a professional, collaborative, and customer-focused approach at all times
About You
You are highly organised, commercially aware, and confident working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in technical sales, engineering quotations, or similar role
- Strong commercial awareness and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (experience with Sage would be advantageous)
