Sustainable NI is seeking Board Members to help the organisation deliver its mission to promote and support sustainable development in Northern Ireland. This is a unique opportunity to provide strategic leadership, influence policy, and make a lasting environmental and social impact. About the Role
Our Board plays a vital leadership role, ensuring we deliver on our ambitious strategic plan and maintain the highest standards of governance, transparency, and impact. We are looking for new Board Members bringing a diverse mix of skills, experience, and insights to inform strategic decisions, challenge constructively, and act as ambassadors for Sustainable NI.
We are particularly interested in individuals with:
- Proven senior leadership experience (Executive or Non-Executive) and strategic thinking skills
- The ability to collaborate, challenge constructively, and make evidence-based decisions
- Experience in Finance, Marketing or Business Development
These are voluntary roles requiring around 10 days per year. Out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed. Board meetings are held quarterly, with a mix of in-person and virtual attendance.
