Position: Inventory Control Clerk/Stock Clerk - Bellshill, United Kingdom.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30.

Salary: £28,000 per annum.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep good in/out inventory, purchasing, shipping and other records up to date using SAP AS400 WMS.
  • Compile data from purchase orders, invoices, requisitions and accounting reports.
  • Determine stock supply and need for replenishment.
  • Identify and process damages, inventory adjustments and shrinkage issues.
  • Conduct cycle counts and assist in physical inventories.
  • Verify product IDs, pallet numbers, authorised substitutes and other details against catalogues and manuals.
  • Review files to identify unused items and recommend disposal of excess or damaged products.
  • Follow regulatory and company safety standards, policies and procedures.
  • Assist with new goods in/out booking requests via Outlook and telephone.
  • Use PPE when necessary in the cold store.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in stock control.
  • Previous experience or willingness to learn Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Computer literate and confident in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Confident communicator face to face and over the telephone.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work within a team in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to drive to site and work during the specified days.
