Position: Inventory Control Clerk/Stock Clerk - Bellshill, United Kingdom.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30.
Salary: £28,000 per annum.
Responsibilities:
- Keep good in/out inventory, purchasing, shipping and other records up to date using SAP AS400 WMS.
- Compile data from purchase orders, invoices, requisitions and accounting reports.
- Determine stock supply and need for replenishment.
- Identify and process damages, inventory adjustments and shrinkage issues.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist in physical inventories.
- Verify product IDs, pallet numbers, authorised substitutes and other details against catalogues and manuals.
- Review files to identify unused items and recommend disposal of excess or damaged products.
- Follow regulatory and company safety standards, policies and procedures.
- Assist with new goods in/out booking requests via Outlook and telephone.
- Use PPE when necessary in the cold store.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in stock control.
- Previous experience or willingness to learn Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Computer literate and confident in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Confident communicator face to face and over the telephone.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work within a team in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to drive to site and work during the specified days.
