Van Driver Required - Temp-to-Perm

Location: Brackley

Hours: Predominantly Monday-Friday, 6:00am starts

Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour whilst temporary, annual salary of up to £30,000 when permanent depending on experience

Pertemps are recruiting an experienced Van Driver to work on a temp-to-perm basis with our client based in Brackley. This is a great opportunity for a reliable, professional multi-drop driver with great knowledge of the UK road network including Greater London. Whilst your core hours will be Monday to Friday, when permanent you may be required to work an occasional Saturday to meet business needs.

The Role

  • To complete multi-drop deliveries throughout the Home Counties, South of England and Greater London
  • Manual loading and unloading required
  • Representing the client with excellent customer service
  • Maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism on every run
  • Assist in the warehouse with picking/packing and general duties when required, therefore flexibility is required.

Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years' proven multi-delivery experience
  • Hold a full UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points for minor offences only
  • Sorry, no DR or IN codes accepted
  • Be confident and experienced driving in Greater London
  • Possess strong geographical knowledge of the UK road network, including Greater London and the south
  • Demonstrate excellent English and communication skills
  • Be physically fit due to manual handling
  • Provide excellent customer service and show safe, compliant driving abilities
