Berkeley Scott, the UK's leading hospitality agency, is recruiting a Head Chef for one of our education clients in West London. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a busy college kitchen delivering fresh, high-quality food in a well-equipped environment. You'll manage the catering team, maintain excellent food standards, and ensure full compliance with Food Safety regulations.

Hours and Remuneration

  • Monday to Friday
  • 7am - 3pm
  • Temp-to-perm opportunity with trial period
  • £19-£20 per hour (please note that the salary is dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the catering operation
  • Prepare fresh meals using standardised recipes
  • Maintain Food & Health Safety standards and complete required paperwork
  • Manage stock control and food ordering
  • Ensure timely meal service across the site
  • Support daily operations, budgets, and inventory management

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child Workforce)
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • 2 employment references
  • Minimum 1 years' experience as a Head Chef or Kitchen Manager in a similar environment
  • Level 3 Food Safety Certificate and relevant Food Safety qualifications
  • Strong communication and IT skills
  • Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills
