The predicted salary is between 48000 - 48000 £ per year.

Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum (including shift uplift).

Location: Based near Uxbridge (Commutable from: Slough, Watford, High Wycombe, Hayes, Aylesbury, Luton and more).

Hours: Continental Shifts - Early: 06:00-16:00 / Late: 12:00-22:00. Pattern: Rotation between early and late shifts (no consecutive weeks) - 177 working days per year, approx. 25 weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Setting and operating CNC mills and lathes (Bridgeport, Hurco, DMG, Protrack)
  • Editing G&M programs directly at the machine when required
  • Producing low-volume, high-precision components
  • Operating CMM machinery and interpreting CMM drawings
  • Performing basic machine and tool maintenance
  • Self-inspecting and deburring components to high standards
  • Supporting lean manufacturing practices and process improvements
Requirements
  • Several years' experience as a CNC Machinist (milling and/or turning)
  • Confident setting and operating multi-axis machines
  • Ability to self-inspect using standard measurement tools
  • Experience reading CMM reports
  • Mechanical apprenticeship (ideal but not essential)
  • Familiarity with 5S, Continuous Improvement, Kanban
