Pay: £26,436 per annum based on experience.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday - 40 hours per week.

About our Nursery

At our 'Outstanding' Ofsted rated nursery in Dartmouth, we believe in the power of outdoor exploration and hands-on learning. Our open plan rooms and free flowing access to outside areas enable children to choose activities and follow their natural curiosity and individual interests in a safe and supportive environment. Following the Hygge approach, which emphasises finding well-being and contentment in the simple pleasures of everyday life, we pride ourselves on the home from home atmosphere and familiarity. Our Dartmouth nursery is located just off the A379 adjacent to Dartmouth Academy School. Parking is available within the school grounds.

What Your Role Involves

  • Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and celebrate children's development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
  • Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
  • Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.
