You'll bring deep expertise across programmatic platforms (DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, etc.), combined with strong strategic thinking to deliver measurable growth for clients, while also managing and developing junior team members. You'll work across a diverse range of clients - from fast-growing challenger brands to established enterprise businesses - building tailored programmatic strategies, driving innovation in audience targeting and automation, and ensuring campaigns consistently deliver against performance goals. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys owning programmatic strategy end-to-end, driving account growth, and using data led insights, testing frameworks, and automation to scale performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Leadership
    • Build strong, trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and lead client communications.
    • Clearly articulate programmatic performance, insights, and strategic recommendations in a confident and engaging way.
    • Provide proactive updates on campaign performance, risks, and growth opportunities.
    • Develop a deep understanding of client business objectives, audiences, competitors, and commercial priorities.
    • Act as the key escalation point for programmatic performance and strategy within accounts.
  • Programmatic Strategy & Campaign Management
    • Own the strategy, setup, and optimisation of programmatic campaigns across platforms such as DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, and other DSPs.
    • Ensure campaigns are built and managed to best practice standards (audience segmentation, bidding strategies, trafficking, tracking, and creative setup).
    • Develop structured testing roadmaps to continuously improve targeting, efficiency, and performance outcomes.
    • Analyse campaign performance data and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
    • Manage budgets and forecasts to ensure campaigns meet or exceed client KPIs (CPA, ROAS, reach, engagement, etc.).
    • Stay ahead of platform updates, automation developments, and wider programmatic and digital media trends.
    • Ensure QA processes are followed across all programmatic activity.
  • Driving Growth
    • Identify and deliver opportunities to grow client accounts through increased budgets, expanded channels, or new programmatic solutions.
    • Contribute programmatic strategy and insight to new business pitches.
    • Support development of innovative tools, data solutions, and automation approaches to improve efficiency and performance.
    • Proactively identify commercial opportunities across existing accounts and act on them.
    • Lead programmatic strategy for smaller new business opportunities and support senior team members on larger pitches.
  • Team Leadership
    • Mentor and support junior team members in their programmatic development.
    • Provide clear feedback and guidance on campaign builds, optimisation, trafficking, and strategy.
    • Ensure effective prioritisation and delegation of workload across shared accounts.
    • Oversee quality of work delivered by junior team members.
    • Share learnings, insights, and best practices across the wider team.
    • Support development of team capability through training, knowledge sharing, and process improvement.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong experience managing programmatic campaigns across major DSPs (DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, etc.).
  • Proven ability to lead programmatic strategy and deliver performance growth.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent optimisation and problem solving skills.
  • Confident client leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
  • Strong understanding of audience strategy, bidding models, and campaign structuring.
  • Commercial awareness with a focus on account growth.
  • Interest in automation, AI, and the evolving programmatic landscape.

Why Join Us:

  • Work across a diverse portfolio of programmatic clients and industries.
  • Lead strategic, high impact programmatic accounts across multiple DSPs.
  • Play a key role in shaping client growth and programmatic innovation.
  • Be part of a collaborative, high performance digital media team.
  • Opportunity to influence wider agency programmatic proposition and automation strategy.

Our Package:

  • Salary: We benchmark salaries against the industry to remain highly competitive. Salaries are regularly reviewed and progress alongside your development. Performance related bonuses are also available.
  • Benefits: A flexible, credit based benefits package including healthcare, pension contributions, gym memberships, and more.
  • Policies: Forward thinking policies designed to support a high performance and balanced working culture.
