Position overview
This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate customer service skills and gain knowledge within a social care setting in our supportive, collaborative, and multi-disciplinary Advice and Contact team. Our key focus is to support Wiltshire's vulnerable adults to live as independently as possible within the community. This holistic approach and the support that you will offer will be essential for the service achieving this.
Responsibilities
- Respond to Adult Social Care enquiries and concerns via telephone, email, and online referrals.
- Action referrals and provide high-quality information, advice and signposting.
Qualifications
- Social care and customer service experience.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a busy and fast paced environment.
- Good listening and communication skills to build effective relationships with vulnerable adults.
- Courteous and professional attitude.
- Excellent IT skills and ability to analyse and prioritise work.
