We are looking for people to join our happy volunteering team. You will be learning new skills, meeting friendly people and making a difference to your community.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and serving hot drinks and snacks to customers
- Stock ordering and replenishment
- Keeping the shop and kitchen clean, tidy and safe
- Supporting the staff and other volunteers to make our shop and cafe a welcoming and friendly place to be
We exist to provide an essentials grocery store and welcoming hub for the village and surrounding area. We run free-to-attend social activities for various sections of the community, such as a crochet group, Compassionate Cafe (in conjunction with Rennie Grove Peace), Tea Club for those who may be feeling isolated, and a Family Board Games Night.
